For the last ten years it has been my privilege to provide therapeutic counselling, psychotherapy and hypnotherapy to hundreds of individuals. The problems and issues for which people have sought help are many and varied:
Anxiety, low mood, relationship difficulties, addictions, compulsions, phobias, irritable bowel, and post-traumatic stress to name just a few.
Therapy sessions are always tailored to the unique needs and wishes of the individual. I always record outcomes with every person who comes to see me so that the therapy is kept on track and progress maintained.
In my work I use an integrative approach in which I draw on a number of different types of effective therapy for which I have extensively trained.
Counselling - Professional assistance and guidance in resolving personal or psychological problems.
Hypnotherapy - The therapeutic use of hypnosis which can be defined as the cultivation of innate faculties such as creative imagination and focused attention.
Human Givens Therapy - A form of brief solution-oriented counselling and psychotherapy focusing on the human needs and resources that form the basis of emotional health and clear thinking.
Coherence Therapy - a system of psychotherapy based in the theory that symptoms of mood, thought and behaviour are produced coherently according to a person's current mental models of reality, most of which are implicit and unconscious.
