An invitation to spend an afternoon exploring some very effective ways to enhance your ability to relax deeply, to focus your mind and to enter an optimum mental state that positive psychologists have called "Flow".
Part 1 Relaxation
Start the afternoon by learning how to tap into your natural relaxation response using a powerful breathing exercise, followed by a deeply relaxing session of Guided Imagery.
Part 2 Focus
An exploration of the importance of what we pay attention to. Where do you put your attention? Learn about the power of Trance States, and practice some simple Self- Hypnosis Techniques.
Part 3 Flow
The last part of the afternoon will include Qigong Shibashi, an active form of relaxation combining movement and breathing, and some insights from Positive psychology to help you move into and stay in "The Zone".
We will finish the afternoon with a couple of simple Circle Dances (no experience required).
This event is led by Terri Goron, experienced teacher of Tai Chi, Qigong and Circle Dance, and by Kevan Owen, Registered Hypnotherapist.
The cost of this event is £25 including refreshments. Places are limited, so please book early. We suggest that you wear flat shoes or trainers, and bring a cushion for added comfort when seated.
