Kevan Owen PG.Dip

Kevan Owen is an experienced Professional Counsellor and Psychotherapist and a Senior Registered Member of the National Council of Integrative Psychotherapists. Following his initial Counselling Certification (2006), he obtained a Higher Postgraduate Diploma in Human Givens Psychotherapy from Nottingham Trent University (2010) and a Diploma in Integrative Hypnotherapy in Health and Holistic Care (2013). Since that time he continues to attend a wide variety of Continuing Professional Development trainings in the field of human emotional health and wellbeing, most notably in recent years, with the Coherence Psychology Institute (2012-2021).

Kevan is an Integrative Counsellor and Psychotherapist. As the name suggests, this is a combined approach to therapy that brings together different elements of specific therapy models. Integrative therapists take the view that there is no single approach that is applicable to each client in all situations, i.e. no "one size fits all". Rather each person needs to be considered as a whole, and counselling techniques must be tailored to their individual needs and personal circumstances.

Since 2006 Kevan has been been working with individuals who have sought help to overcome diverse psychological problems including anxiety, phobia, depression, compulsive behaviour and post-traumatic stress. He has worked with people from all ages and backgrounds.

In addition to his work with individuals he also offer couples/relationship counselling.

Kevan lives in East Cheshire, UK, with his wife Terri Owen. Together they enjoy Walking in the Cheshire countryside, Folk/Circle Dance and Tai Chi.
